Yeah, it's amazing Young is still pitching. He has sustained injuries to his forearm, a torn labrum, a torn anterior shoulder capsule and opted for rehab instead of surgery, tore it again early the next season and had surgery,

had more shoulder surgeries due to constant pain, had decompression surgery to try to ease the pain on his nerves in his shoulder and had a rib and some neck muscles removed to help ease pressure around his collarbone

and has finally recovered enough that he feels no pain. It's hard not to pull for the guy. I'm glad he is still pitching though all those shoulder issues robbed him of his former velocity, but he can still pitch. Pretty damn amazing

Sure seems the batters are just sitting on that first pitch, ambushing as some call it, being the best pitch they'll see. Not surprised, it's a decent strategy against Gallardo.
