Caress of steel was their first great album. But that's not the topic. If you want to get someone into Rush that isn't already a prog head (because they would already know about Rush) you hand them Moving Pictures and not 2112. Radio hits is what makes a good gateway album. You don't hand someone Ummagumma that has never heard Floyd before. -

I know that you can tell the difference between Lopez and Bautista/Miller/Holmes level reliever. The Orioles surely could. I agree with your valuation of position players in general. But for the Baltimore Orioles that is not the case right now. Only 9 guys can get on the field/in the lineup at one time. We have hitting covered (best offense in the AL though it didn’t show tonight). And we have more hitters + hitting prospects than we can possibly use. We also have the makings of a possibly pretty good starting staff (depending on health). What we don’t have is that elite back end bullpen weapon. -

I have. I also don't put "good" at one end. I figure if you think only four or five teams count as "good" there has to be a whole bunch of bad teams. -
The pitching overall should be fine. They’re probably borderline top 10 as currently constructed. With a healthy Bradish, second half Rodriguez, and Wells in the bullpen they’re probably closer to top 5. Still could use a swing and miss set up guy but the pitching should only be getting better from here. -
Moving Pictures contains the radio hits. Don't get me wrong, it's a great album, I listen to it. But "2112" is Rush's first great album. Neil Peart's drumming and lyrics are at his finest.
