Stats and metrics don't tell the whole story. Just watch the game(s)

Its pretty obvious

The problem is, as human beings, we tend to remember the extremes more.

For example, Ubaldo has now had a shutdown inning in this game. After Tampa scored he gave up nothing. No one remarks on it or says to much.

Whenever it doesnt happen, it gets talked about and everyone is aware of it.

So even if we don't do it more than any other team, and statistics can demonstrate that, you will still have people who insist we do. Because that's what they remember.

Well, Matt is the starting catcher and we have him 26 more games or so as an Oriole. Might as well use him.

As for Caleb, I think you have to consider what losing a nut does to a guy, not only the pschyological effect, but the long time away from the game. Try walking in his shoes, mate.
