Horrendous umpiring and officiating in any sport is unacceptable. I've been around plenty including a time a Korean soccer official asked me for money if the American team wanted calls. Looks like someone was finally caught. When I see these lazy umps blow calls left and right it drives me crazy. You simply can't truly believe a pitch 6-8 inches off the plate to be a strike. Too many times 3-0, 3-1 counts you see the zone expand, same when a team has a big lead. Know it's 8-1 but the Tigers have a good offense and batters don't deserve to be cheated.

Jimenez is making it interesting, but they are being patient and that's how you beat Ubaldo. However, the Orioles bullpen will have to fail to lose this game because I can't see Jimenez being left in long enough to blow this

lead. He needs to make some really good pitches here.

The 1-2 pitch to Upton was the same distance off the plate that the 1-2 pitch to Alvarez was in the top half of the inning.
