I don't get why we optioned Castro out?  He did his job while he was up here and we don't need a fresh arm for tonight.  The only thing I can think of is that they want a true long man available in the pen.  Bleier can't be that because right now he's the only lefty we have.  Plus it's now been more than 10 days since Verrett was optioned.  I bet its Verret that gets the call today.

The big club travels for 81 games a year, and on road trips rarely spends more than three days in a city before climbing back aboard a plane.

In the minors they're regularly taking long bus trips.

Worrying about the "tiring" travel from Norfolk seems trivial and forced.
