Schoop is ice cold.  Talk about momentum shift.  Didn't Minnesota have a bunch of comebacks on us when they season swept us two years ago?

Givens has not been good lately on high leverage situations. O'Day also scares me unless he allows his own runners

Fair enough. Although Givens has been downright awful with inherited runners too, and I would not use O'Day that early.

This is going to be one of those awful game where you have the other pitcher on the ropes, your starter melts down and gives the lead back, your reliever ensures the bases are cleared before getting out of the inning and the  your offense goes back out and makes that same pitcher look like Cy Freakin' Young.

Sure, no guarantee it will work out better.

But to refuse to use your high leverage guys in that situation just because it's the fifth inning?  I don't get that kind of ridged thinking.

Wilson's allowing some hard hit balls too.  I can't comprehend staying tied after this inning.
