I was at the game where he got hit by two batted balls in a row in the 1st inning.  He was OK so it was pretty funny.  Some goofass disaster BS always happens when I go to a game, like 30-3, or Steve Kline raging out at an umpire.  At least this time some no name reliever came in and threw like 6 shutout innings after he left.

Interesting discussion on the broadcast.  Apparently Miley pinpoints a game vs Tampa in July 2017 when he went to his rarely used cutter and struck out Longoria with it.

He said after that he began using his cutter more and more, up to the point where it is his predominant pitch this year, and he credits that with his turnaround.

And for the record, Miley had an ERA of 5.69 going into that "turnaround" game in July 2017.  He ended the season at 5.61.  So if that was really the turning point that he says it is, there wasn't much evidence of it the rest of his season in Baltimore.

Agreed.  Manny did not hustle down to first on that 4th inning grounder to the left side.  He does that stuff too often.
