I just hope the next group we get are better when the lights are brightest as opposed to the guys that left us.

Schoop was 0-2 in the last series, and Manny is 1-12 in this series. The 1 hit was a big first inning homer, but otherwise that's been it.  I want the Braves to win this series, but it would be good to see Manny hit better.  Seeing these guys not deliver in the playoffs brings back bad October memories.

They know they don't have to throw either of them strikes. That's what's happening.

He wasnt playing full-time before the playoffs, so I wouldnt expect him to get more playing time in the playoffs.

They were sort of platooning him against lefties But in August he hit around .200 with a 30% k rate and in  September batted around .195 with a 37% K rate.His  OBP was top 10 worst in the majors based on minimum plate appearances. Not playing every day is not good for him.He has a strong arm but range is limited. Definitely not a SS.

Even the causal fan knew he couldnt play anything more than emergency SS, why the heck did they trade for him, anyway???????

So worst .OBP  in the majors 2018 ,minimum 500 AB's, #1 is Chris Davis and #2 is Jonathan Schoop. Schoop did have a 1.4 WAR.

If DFAd I’d offer Schoop every day 2nd base ABs because Beckham will have already been DFAd. Maybe offer Dickerson roving MILB IF instructor and have him in ST with Schoop.

I think Dodger Blue suits Manny well.  I could see him staying there if it weren't for the impending return of Seager and having Turner at 3B.
