Better argument from insurer would be that any pitching injury wouldn’t prevent him from playing 1b/dh as he normally does.

Davis is getting close to passing his BA from last year.     He was at .158 before striking out in his last AB, now .155.   He’s surpassed his OPS from last year, .544 to .539.    Not bad for a guy who was batting .000 11 days ago.

El Gordo (my name is Gordon) also means the great one, ala Jackie Gleason, who was fat as well.  But the greatest among comics was Groucho, IMO

I am glad Davis is doing better.  His 0 for streak kind of made me feel sorry for him.  Hopefully he can keep improving and be a positive going forward.

At this point, a .700 OPS would be awesome.

He usually really struggles with pitches up in the zone. Took that 92 MPH heater the other way.

I hate to get my hopes up, but I'm encouraged. I honestly think so much of what he's gone through has been mental. Here's to hoping he can keep it rolling.
