Orioles claim Eric Hanhold, DFA Ty Blach

Hanhold  is a sinker/slider reliever.  His slider flash plus.  He sinker averages 95 mph and touches 97.

What did they think about Ty Blach when they picked him up?  I am guessing they just were sick of Ty and wanted to try someone else.

Blach cleared waivers and was assigned to Norfolk.

Hanhold is now in DFA limbo. Last time he was on waivers he cleared the entire NL. My guess is he’ll clear. Start the 10 day clock.
