It was a bad trade not because Tobias Myers became great, at least not yet, but the Rays traded Myers for Caminero who was the #2 prospect at one point last year.

Stewart was mocked when he was here, but he’s managed to carve out a serviceable career.   Of all the no. 25 overall draft picks, Stewart is 20th in WAR and 14th in AB.  It wouldn’t be that surprising if he ends up 9th in AB if he can hang around for another year or two.  I’m not saying he was a great pick, either in terms of strategy or results, but there have been many worse picks.

Nope.   Had no idea just had read the small blurb on trade rumors.    Makes sense now.
