SSS, but Orioles starting pitchers WHIP since substance crackdown...

I know it's a very small sample size, but I was trying to watch the game today and seeing all the walks made me want to see how the Os starters have done since Monday, day that MLB started to crack down on foreign substance use by pitchers.  So, here is the yearly stats versus what they'd been so far this week.  Note, I am only including starting pitchers as that was disgusting enough.

6/24/21 - Kremer - 0.1 IP, 2 hits, 5 walks for a WHIP of 21.00.  Year WHIP of 1.61, Career of 1.57

6/23/21 - Eshelman - 4 IP, 8 hits, 1 walk for a WHIP of 2.25.  Year WHIP of 1.5, Career of 1.44

6/22/21 - Lopez - 6.1 IP, 5 hits 2 walks for a WHIP of 1.15.  Year WHIP of 1.46, Career of 1.49

6/21/21 - Akin - 4 IP, 6 hits, 4 walks for a WHIP of 2.5.  Year WHIP of 1.57, Career of 1.52.

Again, VERY small sample size and all of that, but of our SP, 3 of the 4 had SIGNIFICANTLY higher WHIP than is their average.  Lopez pitched a great game, and beat his yearly WHIP nicely.  While this really doesn't tell us very much, I thought it was interesting, and will be interesting to see the impact of the staff going forward, and to see if a similar trend happens league wide.
