I find it hard to get worked up about something that strikes me as inevitable.

Pitching improves, defense improves if you take away the HR offense is going to suffer.

I have a hard time telling teams that doing the smart thing is somehow wrong.

HR's allowed per team allowed was 1.3 last season. Now 1.0 this year. Im fine with it.

Also, you can't make this kind of analysis based on April data alone.  The month is chock full of sub-70°F game weather that just kills fly balls.

I'm ok with this too.  Baseball was better when top teams hit 200 HR instead of 250-300+.  The 1961 Yankees held the HR record for years at 240.  That mark has probably been eclipsed 20 times in the last 5 years.
