Aguilar is 2/3 vs Valdez with a double. SSS of course, but nobody on the Orioles has more than 5 ABs against him. My beef is having Mullins and his .259 OB% against lefties batting leadoff. For an organization that’s so obsessed with analytics they sure do make some head scratching moves now and then.

If the Orioles manage to beat the Astros tonight with Framber Valdez pitching, then maybe they will sneak into the last wildcard spot.

Tonight's crappy lineup is a perfect example of why Jordan Westburg should have already been called up. It's stupid to have Odor hitting against a tough lefty, even if he winds up somehow hitting a home run or having a good game at the plate against Valdez.

Hyde also has to stop treating Stowers as a strict platoon player. Another bad lineup from a manager that doesn't understand the players at his disposal.

Sometimes it feels like he makes lineups like a little league manager who tries to make sure everyone gets to play.

It’s a day off for Gunnar, but I can’t imagine he’s feeling fatigued enough to ask for a rest.

Only a handful of Orioles took BP, unless they did it way early. Vavra and Gunnar hit. It was mainly the guys on bench tonight. McKenna and Stowers hit also. Maybe one more. Not Aguilar. I think Urias.

I think I'm done caring about it. It's too frustrating.
