Will Mateo ever figure out that the O's don't need him to be Mountcastle at the plate.  Hanser Alberto would be a big upgrade and might keep him a ML regular.

That doesn’t explain in the mean time. I do think Arauz may be viewed by Elias as having more versatility than Bannon and Brown said on the broadcast that Elias had experience with Arauz in Houston.
