It Ain't Over

It's over if you can't score runs, which has been this team's main struggle for awhile.  I think the O's have scored the fewest runs of any MLB team with a winning record, and at the moment they have a negative runs scored / runs against differential that's been heading in the wrong direction since around the time the benches cleared with Toronto.

The offense pretty must has kept us from having an even better season then anyone expected and now they are going to finally eliminate us.  We have got no better even with the additions of Adley and Gunnar now.   We are on way to being 0-5 vs the Tigers and scoring 3 total runs.  2 in the eighth in one game and 1 in the ninth.  So in 5 games we didn’t score one single run vs them in the first 7 innings of any game.

If it wasn't for Gunnar this collapse would be even worse.

I don't mind really mind if they limp towards the finish.  Let's them know there's still some work to be done and they better not be resting on their laurels.  We've found some really good nuggets along the way this year.  Now let's see if Elias is able to supplement what's been built.

Right now we have the #17 Pick.  If our offense says this anemic, then we could really bottom out. We could see ourselves with anywhere from the 12th to 16th Pick

We could still end up with the #1 pick, they are going to a draft lottery for all non-playoff teams.
