Half the season was over before Vavra came up, who was he supposed to play? If Hays and Urias hadn't tanked in Aug. and most of Sept., Hyde would prolly be the AL Manager of the Year.

Father in law is texting me whining about  Hyde should have yanked Bradish earlier. Then says they shouldn’t have used Krehbiel and Reed. I fired back at him and asked should Baker, Bautista, Tate and Perez pitch 7 innings ?  What about tomorrow?

I think the talent has a lot more to do with winning.

I don't think Hyde is a better, or worse, manager this year than last year.
