I wished Mountcastle came up with it, but that was a brutal throw by Mateo.  A Major League shortstop has to make a better throw.

It sure did. He struggled for 2/3 of the season but at the end or the year his technique was much better. Frustrating.

I agree with you and if his technique was solid and he didn’t pick it then I wouldn’t have said a word.

I don't disagree, it's just been a long time since seeing a ML player blow such an easy throw.
