Game by Game Betting Odds

Not that this means anything at all- but the Orioles have been betting "underdogs" in every single game this season. All 9. So being 4-4 while not being favored in any game is something, I guess. I would imagine we will be favored in the Oakland series. I have never really followed this before so I have no context if 9 consecutive games like this are common place or not.

Betting odds aren't necessarily about which team the odds-makers think will win the game.  It's about predicting how gamblers will wager.  As bets come in, the odds adjust based on the betting.  I would imagine that the Orioles aren't a team that typically gets a lot of money behind them from gamblers across the country.
