At what point do we become the team “fixes” players?

You seem to be pretty obsessed with signing has-been pitchers in their 30’s who used to be good.  I’d rather stick with the guys we have.

Stick a fork in him.  Best fastball this year has been 89 MPH which explains why his ERA is 10.59.   And wouldn't we have to assume the $34 million on his contract?

Not unless we claimed him on waivers. But I don’t want him anyway.

I don’t think Bumgarner had anything left in the tank, but if Elias wants to take an MILB contract flyer on him I have no complaints. 

It would likely work out like when Johan Santana was attempting a comeback with the Orioles.
