Yeah, Verdugo is exceptional in RF.  He put on a defensive show last series.

With the way the Tigers were running on Bautista last series, I would leave Akin in there and save the Bautista and Cano for another day. But they're going to  bring Bautista in anyway.  Let's hope he can prevent a runner from getting on board.

Anyone here remember *Doyle* Alexander? Everybody was disappointed in him as the main return for Frank Robinson (and Pete Richert), but he ended up having a very illustrious career with other teams. And when we traded him to the Yankees (along with Elrod, Grant Jackson, and Ken Holtzman), we got back a great, long-term haul: Dempsey, Tippy, Scott MacGregor, and Rudy May!
