You can’t throw either of those pitches at that speed and in those locations. There’s people on this thread that could have put those balls out.

Wells has been good, but tonight is exhibit A on why he's not your ideal game one starter in the playoffs.

True... but thankfully he isn't allowing baserunners and they were solos

Wells has allowed at least a HR in 11 of his 16 starts this season (not counting today).

We really don't have a starting pitcher that I would be confident in starting game a of a playoff game, let alone, of the world series.
