Do we get the high profile HS pick today or the Showalter/Willems type?

There are still some HS players considered high profile on the board.   At this point it gets tougher and tougher to sign them away from college commitments.   The Orioles managed to come up with two rather obscure, but good HS prospects the last two drafts with Willems and Showalter.   Kind of getting that deja vu thing again.

Since Baumeister is a sophomore, I'm guessing they might have to go a bit overslot on him.  If so, might not be enough money left for one of the high profile HS kids.  I'd be happy with one HS overslot in the Willems/Showalter mold.

Or, they could end up drafting a number of senior signs, and save enough money for a high profile kid.  Will be interesting to see what happens.

In the past, they've gone over slot, but haven't blown the budget on that one guy. I'd assume something similar.

I don't know who's pulled their names from the draft pool, but if we can draft/sign a Hunter Owen or Cameron Johnson that would be a nice bump to the developmental arms!
