I'm in the same camp that I prioritize next year and the years after more than this year. But even if you want to win this year, you need a higher ceiling than the mediocre veterans, which the rookies give you. And this team has enough of a cushion that they're not going to fall out of it regardless. So call them up for this year and next year.
