I'll start....I'd like to see one game where we roll out this lineup:

  1. Holliday - SS
  2. Rutchman - C
  3. Henderson - 3B
  4. Krjstad - RF
  5. Mayo - 1B
  6. Basillo - DH
  7. Cowser - LF
  8. Westburg - 2B
  9. Bradfield Jr. - CF

And just for fun, Norby and Ortiz off the bench :-).

I am going to four spring training games between March 5-13, before most of the cuts get made.  I’m hoping to see a bit of Basallo and Mayo, and I’m really interested to see all the permutations of Westburg, Ortiz and Holliday playing in different spots to see how they all look.  And, the Kjerstad/Cowser competition will be interesting to watch.   Finally, I’m hoping to see how McDermott and Povich are looking.  I saw both of them at Bowie in the latter part of 2022, and saw Povich for an inning or two last spring.  It will be interesting to see what progress they’ve made.

I think people are sleeping on Johnson.    Looking forward to see how he's throwing this spring.

I’m not sleeping on him, I just think he’s a year away from having a shot at cracking the roster sometime during the season.

Let’s be clear — Johnson is an extremely inexperienced pitcher:

College: 66.1 innings

Low A: 95.2 innings

High A: 31.1 innings

AA: 3 innings

I want to see how Hall looks starting against a Major League skill level starting lineup. And compare that to Wells, Irvin, Povich, McDermott, and Johnson.

I want to see how much better Jackson Holliday's defense has improved in a year playing shortstop and 2nd base.

I also want to see how good Tate looks in his return.

And I want to see who shows signs of life like O'Hearn did last spring training. Who is going to be consistent and show power, etc.  I'll be excited to see all of our prestigious prospects play.

I want to see a couple of pitchers break out in ST. Like McDermott and DL Hall learn to be an effective starters.   Hopefully a surprise Povich and or Seth Johnson.  Grayson Rodriguez  become an dominate ace. John Means back to pre TJ form. Bradish continue to be effective. Kremer to continue to be effective.
