Something about Bradish being number 38 is upsetting. It's a low-tier number, for the Jimmy Paredeses of the world. Should have gone for 37.

Are you calling John Lowenstien low-tier?!?!?

Kremlinology, only Cade Povich out of McDermott and the big boy bats didn't get to the 85-99 zone.

I usually pride myself in my Just Regular-ese.  But it’s not my native tongue.  Please explain.  :)

Does this mean Vavra didn’t even get invited to big league camp?

I understand that the talent of this organization has likely passed him by but to not even get invited to camp seems a little harsh.

Yep... :/

I'm sure we'll see him from the minor league camp, but that's tough. I really like Vavra. But between all the infielders and outfielders there's just no room to play him.

Guys with really high uniform numbers in Spring Training are roster filler.

Can had it, just noticing he got a number from the Felix/Cano neighborhood.     DL Hall backfill?

Number story really only had the potential to be fun if Holliday or Mayo got a good one early, but of course the Org would never leak that kind of thing.

Charles has those big strikeout numbers that could maybe turn into another unexpected dominate reliever.  Elias seemingly pulled Felix and Cano out of thin air.

I believe Felix Bautista was signed under the DD regime.

Yep, good call.  DD deserves more credit than he gets.  The larger point was getting really good [bullpen] seasons out of those two last year when no one really saw that coming.  I wonder if Charles could be that guy this year.
