Thanks to @Ned from Yorkfor reminding me to start this thread.  Remember, only update this when the O’s reach a new seasonal high for games over .500.  

+4 as of 4/11/24. Last year’s team didn’t reach +4 until the 18th game of the year.

As the season went on,  it was fun to go back and re read.   So many times people predicted we were at the ultimate high mark and were wrong.   A grest reminder of just how well they broke all expectations.

Too early to worry about it.   On this date last year we were 4.5 back of Tampa.   And we were 6.5 back on July 1.   By the end of July, we had passed them for good.   It's a long, long season, I wouldn't worry too much about what the Yankees are doing on April 21.

Yeah as soon as I copied and pasted it I thought -- did Miggy really wear #9?  But I'm not very good at remembering player numbers anyway -- at least for most players outside of the 1970s.  The wonders of Google images.
