Yes, he probably does make it back, but I wouldn't be shocked at all if it is just for a handful of games.

I am sure Means wants to come back and do well. Free agent year.

I’m not sure how one pitcher having a bad start and it getting out of hand after our mop up guy gets put in equates to being exposed for not having enough pitching.

Three of our five SP have pitched to a sub-3 ERA so far and our bullpen has been excellent. 

Regardless of the reality that we have pitched pretty well, why don’t we wait until we are more than a month into the season before we start making these kind of proclamations.

It’s early, but based on the Burnes interview he doesn’t seem to view the Orioles as a glass of water in the desert.  He was given a number of opportunities to be effusive in his praise of the Orioles organization and opted to be slightly more muted.  He seems like a guy that at the moment sees this as a way station on his way to his ultimate destination.  This is not to say that he won’t try his hardest or doesn’t see the team as a contender, merely that he doesn’t seem to be so impressed that the Orioles as an organization are any better than Milwaukee.   I think we as fans want to believe the team and organization are special, but it might be that they a very good organization among a handful of other very good organizations.

On Wells, have people forgotten that he looked like th8s all of the sudden midseason last year?  The hope was that it was a blip, but maybe the first half of last year was the blip.
