Offense back to doing nothing the last 2 games. Shut out into the 8th last game and zero XBH’s tonight. Scoring 16 runs the first 2 games against Texas was great but it sure would be nice if they could consistently score 4+ runs per game.

We're so overrated offensively. Not sure the issue. But it seems like teams avoid fastballs against us! Lol!

Puk's season numbers are messed up by when he was overextended as a starter.

SP - 13.2 IP of 9.22 ERA and 12/17 K/BB

RP - 28.1 IP of 2.22 ERA and 30/6 K/BB

Among 2024's relievers with 20 innings as RP, his 0.81 WHIP is 11th of 242.

That’s what you get when the SP’s have a 4.97 ERA since the series in NYY, while the offense has alternated scoring 6+ runs or 3 runs or less while consistently struggling with RISP. The offense should figure out, but they badly need 2 SP’s.

How do to you overrate an offense?  They either have scored the runs they have in 100 games or not.  They have had a colder streak the last 15 games or so.  It is a long season.  Are the Yankees overrated?

Who’s the .5? I’d call it 2.0 at this point. The hitting is just as lousy. About the only good thing is you can say the last month is we haven’t sucked as bad at the Yankees or Guardians,
