Okay, so here's how it goes...

Starting pitcher goes at least 5.1, surrenders 3 runs or less... we are in the game. Our offense trips all over itself in numerous run scoring opportunities, the starter tires, they bring in someone out of the pen, they have a decent inning, we make a few more boneheaded mistakes offensively, then our bullpen completely gives it away.

Then we fall asleep.

Wake up the next morning and repeat.

Here's a suggestion... start wearing the old brown bag over your head while watching MASN so your wife and kids don't know you're watching these losers. Better yet, put the bag over the tube and tell them you're watching "Deadliest Catch" and the Captain is having yet another problem with a greenhorn crew member. At least they won't pity you or think you're a moron!
