      Derrick Goold on MLB Network just had the detail Mozeliak has said his current contract (expiring after 2025) is his last one. Chaim Bloom joined the org perhaps eyeing the succession. Bullpen pieces - Andrew Kittredge mentioned along with Ryan Helsley.     Walk year Paul Goldschmidt and LTC Nolan Arenado the giant pieces if it gets really bad.

      I was going to tell you I thought the voicemail’s would be there because they are on whatever carrier service you have not the phone itself but I didn’t wouldn’t to get your hopes up.   Glad that was correct.  Set up the auto backup.

      Most local announcers on tv these days are terrible.   I just watched on mlb.com the NESN broadcast of the Clemens 20 strike out game from 1986 .  I was struck by how good the two announcers were and how their style differed from today's game.  Surprisingly they weren't homers.   They seemed to be appreciating the pitching dual between Clemens and Mike Moore as much as I was.   I was struck by how their voices remained calm the entire time.   I thought of Melanie the other night who seemed to be talking in a high pitched 'excited' voice for most of the game.   That 'excited' Melanie voice just sounded so fake.   I think she has a nice voice if she talks normally and uses the correct words.

      I bought a new phone today.  I’m thrilled to report that I was able to recover a lot of my old data, including the voice mails from my dad.  All I lost was about 18 months of photos and all of my text messages.  I can live with that.
