Thanks for the info, Rick.

It may be more apt to post it (the information) in these threads, though.

Or, you could start a new thread with it (the information.) :)

Thanks, I was torn about where to put it, with the ton of new threads, I was reluctant to start one just for this.

I would have given Valencia a chance against RHP. Hopefully Betemit can produce.

Ever since the Meat refused to extend his rehab for a few days and forced the Orioles to make a move, he is off my Christmas card list. I won't be sad to see him gone next season.

However, a 3 for 4 with 2 bombs and 4 rbi's could cure a lot of ill will! :D

Would much rather see Flaherty at 2B and Roberts at DH

Betemit looks lost and can't run if by some miracle he makes it on base.

Looking like old times again where the O's send out their washed up veterans who will never play another MLB game past thier September in Baltimore.

Should have DFA'd Betemit when he refused to extend his rehab assignment.

Nick Markakis - RF

Wilson Betemit - DH

J.J. Hardy - SS

Matt Wieters - C

Brian Roberts - 2B

What these guys do determines the game IMO.

Wieters looked horribly overmatched yesterday when he was up with runners on. 2 pop up fouls and then a swinging bunt. I'm not brimming with confidence when he comes up even though he had a game winning hit recently.

Yeah, other than the game winner the other day Wieters seems like a black hole in our lineup recently. His OPS is now under .700.

bbbbbb but September is his big month

I'll have a party when they trade Wieters no matter what they get for him

Package him with Hobgood and Matusz to rid us of the reminder of failed top 5 picks.
