Hardy gets so off balance when he swings at bad pitches. He drops his shoulder and always, always pops it up. It looks awful.

Lack of plate discipline kills. There's no reason to expand the strike zone before two strikes, and even then, it doesn't have to be expanded to the ground or the shoulders, which our guys too far too often.

They are not expanding the strike zone, to them the strike zone is that big all the time.
