I agree. Obviously Buck knows what he's doing, but it has been scary watching Steve basically flip over and have to brace himself hard with his hands/wrists the last 2 games. Broken wrist for Steve Pearce would be devastating.

Our pitching has remained so healthy. Our hitters, not so much. Thank God we have a) a comfortable lead for ALDS home field; and b) a week + before the big dance.

The wrist is what I was concerned about with Pearce. It has been his Achilles heel.

The amazing thing is if Pearce's wirst problem turns out to be real, with Paredes being a defensive liability at 3B, a good week by Walker could actually land him in the lineup on October 2. Flaherty at 3B, Walker at 1B. Hopefully Pearce will be OK though.

Nick is back in the lineup, but the previous post is not the correct lineup, according to both Roch Kubatko, and Rotowire.

Kelly Johnson is playing 2nd base, Ryan Flaherty is playing 1st base, and Jimmy Paredes is playing 3rd base.

Schoop and Walker are not playing.
