The only thing that bothers me about losing this game (because every team loses games) is that the loss falls squarely on the Orioles' "B" squad. Webb and Meek were in the minors for most of the season for a reason.

You might say that our strengths on any given day will offset our weaknesses, and this is true more often than not, but as I write this the score is tied. It's not a sustainable formula. You can't win reliably with black holes in your team's competencies. You have to be at least okay at everything. But we are hopeless out of the bullpen and very unreliable defensively for basically a full week. It will come back to bite us if we don't fix it, mark my words.

Should we trade for Ronald Belisario? He's looking better than every pitcher in our pen except Britton right now.

Or maybe Miggy needs to teach the rest of our starters how to pitch every game as a complete game.
