Tillman just has enough tools in the arsenal to make things work on most days. FB command was good today. I thought he got screwed a few times on the outside corner calls against some of the RH batters.

The first couple of innings are usually his worst, but he was effective and efficient through the first three last night. Then, he walked the guy in front of Longoria, who owns him. Ugh.

There were some hard hit balls but his FB command is much better compared to his first few starts.

I'd like to see him take a baby step against some other team. Seems like his only decent starts this year have come against the same poor hitting Rays lineup.

With Norris going from terrible to mediocre, Tillman may be the biggest concern for the team at the moment.

Really really hard to watch tonight. His fastball isn't fooling anyone or getting by anyone. There were a lot of really loud long balls hit of Tilly tonight. It's a pattern and it needs to end for this season to be successful. Unlike Buck sitting Ubaldo last year, I have the feeling that he'll keep running Chris out there for as many innings as he'll Tilly'll give him.

Tillman will be okay. But the trend is concerning. Last year was worse than the previous year. And this year he looks worse than last year.

Looks like he needs to make some adjustments, perhaps work with Wallace and Chiti. Then he'll come back next start and do just fine.
