lol.. you can criticize that at bat all you want, and rightly so, but that was no mental lapse. Jones has poor pitch recognition. He always has. Baseball is incredibly hard. But he still finds a way to add good value on offense in spite of this.

People here have to stop acting like Jones is magically going acquire pitch recognition/discipline. It's okay to be frustrated about it, but he is what he is, and he is NOT a low IQ player.

Disagree. Base open and one out. Jones is smart but if he thinks he is going to get challenged there by a guy without a fastball that is a mistake. Harang is not a power arm.
