Why even send him? The only way he scores is on a bad throw from the OF, and if he doesn't score (i.e. gets tagged out at the plate), it's such a big boost for the other team... Baffled...

I dont fault the send because we aren't getting many chances tonight, but Hardy is SO slow that you'd have to think Dickerson was hoping for a skipped ball.

He wasn't even at 3rd base when they got the ball in shallow left field against one of the slowest runners on the team. You can't send him there.
