Man it was fun for a second when we thought maybe we developed a young stud starter. I hope he doesn't just become a bullpen arm.

Wasn't he hurt as well when he came apart? I think he was just trying to gut it out. Like Gonzalez and Tillman were.

No, not really huh? Maybe Brady already shed some pounds off him.

I don't think Brady could have taken that much off him that fast. It's just one photo, but I'd be surprised if he even weighs 230. If you told me he only weighed 215, I'd believe it based on that picture. I guess we'll find out soon enough.

By the way, I'm enjoying the fact that weams is now changing the thread title daily to count down the days. 12 days isn't long, and I've got the itch now. The news that Britton signed and so we are heading to camp with no lingering arbitration cases was heartening for me. I think the boys will be coming in pretty psyched that Davis, Wieters and O'Day are all back, and there will be a lot of enthusiasm this spring despite the questions about the rotation.

Brady is pretty tall, 6 feet at least. Kim is 2 or 3 inches taller there, and thicker.

52 years old. I thought I read a few years ago that physically he felt he could still play but the problem was the reaction time/reflexes. Or maybe he was referring back to his final season when he was playing in the minors for Portland when he said that. Can't remember for sure.
