The weather was darn near perfect, not a drop of rain to be found, the temperature was comfortable, it was a weekend, and what do you know, people came out to the park. Who'd have thunk it.

Nothing like good weather and good promoting. We shall see what the Tigers series brings. Fireworks,kid giveaway and a LL parade should help attendance. Weather looks sort of iffy but noy that bad. Thursday game should be a low attendance game. Attendance with Red Sox around on Memorial Day and Yankees on a weekend should start to pick up. Also that WJZ Weather Day gets over 28,000 kids.Playing good baseball and weather would help the Orioles. Yesterday was a strange crowd. Saw many people who I usually don't see at the game.

I have trouble buying into the 43,690 figure for Saturday Game 2.

That game was almost sold out. Seemed to be many people who don't attend many games. The lines to buy anything was insane. Liked it better when less people came the first two Sundays.

It's a beautiful night, the Orioles (though struggling) are in second place, and the opponent is the despised team in first place. Why is the stadium so empty? The explanation for the low attendance numbers earlier this season was the bad weather.
