What are the chances that Hardy will be back by the time Machado starts his suspension? That'll ease the sting a little bit. Plus there's a good chance Machado won't have to serve the suspension until the next homestand when the last place Padres and Rays come to town. Losing Machado will hurt the team but they should be able to weather the storm for a few days.
