Odds of signing both Machado and Schoop to long term deals

I know Angelos doesn't have the best track record for handing out huge contracts, but you would have to think that he sees the potential for these guys being the face of the franchise for many years and making him lots of money. You can obviously tell they are great friends and enjoy playing with each other. I feel like if we deal Schoop that means Manny is gone too

Seems quite unlikely, but that's the only realistic hope as I see it. Manny can join the Orioles pantheon like he experienced with Brooks and others on Friday, and be a hero forever in Baltimore, or he can get a lot more money and do celebrity stuff in a metropolis, and get booed at times no matter how well he plays.

I think less than 5%. I just don't see it. Schoop, maybe. Manny, almost no chance. Someone will give him a huge deal with opt-outs. Which means it won't be the Orioles.
