What position players will Buck start Sunday vs Detroit?

With Sunday being a day game.. I wondered why Buck didn't sit Weiters after his HR, for tomorrows game.

Verlander vs the O's in the past:

Wieters (.148 29 AB's)

Joseph (.000 2 AB's)

Pena (.000 no AB's)

Is it suck up time for Wieters, or does Buck say screw that and put Caleb in?

In LF:

Pearce (0 for 2)

Kim (no AB's)

Bourne (.371 13 for 35)

Reimold (.286 2 for 7)

I think Buck showed his hand by leaving Wieters in.. which I don't really agree with. Each game has serious consequences now (we are talking playoffs ..right?)

I'd be pretty surprised if Trumbo doesn't start.

Trumbo's right-handed and hasn't had many days off recently plus Bourn's had some success against Verlander and is better with the glove. That's the way I would go. That being said, Trumbo's hit 6 HR in the last 20 games and Buck's crush on him seems second only to his crush on Reimold, so who knows?

Good point. I'm thinking if it's Weaver, Pena comes in for Wieters maybe after the 3-run homer in the sixth, or maybe after the 7th so Matt can continue to catch Ubaldo, or definitely for the 8th and 9th. The rosters have expanded!
