Both balls so far hit on a line.  Maybe a bit too much up and middle of the plate... Needs to work in his change.

Miley gets a backwards K to end the inning- he made some real quality pitches in that at bat.  At the knees and on the corner for two fastballs.  Overall a much better first inning.

I guess they look harder hit on TV than in person?  Im also watching on my phone and the quality seems to come and go and had to go off the reaction of Jim Hunter.

Smith retired on a weak ground out to 2b.  So far he hasnt impressed me with the bat.  But its early.
