Brady works directly for Angelos, not Dan or Buck. You can draw any conclusion you want but the last guys who had that type of direct influence were Mike Flanagan and Syd Thrift.

I think it's the other way around. Yankees received $1.5 million in int'l slot money.

I read that the Phillies got a total of about $1 million between what we traded them and what the Nationals traded them.  Don't know for sure, though.

The Orioles control a lot of the Sun Sports page advertising budget in the summer from what I heard.

If a deal doesn't get done, we can't comment until we have some idea of the players that were offered for Britton.  Prices for relievers have been pretty low this season.

The Sun did not fire him. Just the Orioles tried to put pressure on the Sun with pulling advertising
