Have you watched any games recently? Santander has been slumping severely and couldn't hit water falling out of a boat. I don't care what the season stats say. He's swinging at pitches that are a foot out of the strike zone. -
Okay bros, I'm now a believer. Print up the WS tickets. -
They definitely need to find a way to get Kjerstad more at bats. He's a potential RBI machine. Letting him rot away on the bench isn't the answer. -
Kimbrel is our closer. He has to be able to go back to back. If he can't, Elias has to find someone who can close games back to back, either someone already in the organization or through trade. -

Considering the series win is secured, I have no problem with giving Cedric Mullins a rest day and also letting Gunnar DH. It's a perfect opportunity for that and to give guys like Urias and McKenna some playing time. With that being said, it would have been a good opportunity to give Kjerstad some experience vs Big League left handed pitching too. He needs to develop and he's not doing that by sitting on the bench. -
Not impressed with the hit tool so far. Hopefully he can start driving the ball more. -

We just DFA’d him on 5/2. It can take up to 10 days before we put him on release waivers. Sometimes it happens sooner than later. We’ll just randomly here that he was claimed or in Norfolk over the next 10. I assume the Pen for tonight is Suarez, Akin, Webb, and Coloumbe. When you play a bunch of close games you use your pen a lot. Off day tomorrow.
