Is Mullins still recovering?  I noticed he wasn't in the starting lineup.  If I was manager, Mullins would start every game the rest of the year unless he said he needed a day to rest.

Very odd. If he is having any health issues at all then why put him in the game in the 9th in a blowout?

They wanted to rest his hip. It probably isn't THAT bad, but they would rather get him in a game for an inning or 2 than for all 9 to lessen the impact on him/the hip.

Probably plays all game tomorrow, since Thursday is an off day.

He played Monday.

So either the hip flared up again or he was given a day off vs the lefty for Toronto (Mullins had much worse #s vs lefties than righties in his minor league career).
