When Florida defensive back Chauncey Gardner-Johnson was asked about the 31-game winning streak that Florida had against Kentucky, he confidently stated, "It's 31, right? It'll be 32 after Saturday,"

Gardner-Johnson's assertion did not turn out to be prophetic, as the Wildcats went into The Swamp in Gainesville and beat the Gators by a score of 27-16.

This article was written BEFORE Saturday's game, and it includes the quote from Gardner-Johnson.

(WEEK FOUR)

Kentucky has beaten 2 ranked teams already this season, and did so in convincing fashion.

The 4-0 Wildcats went on the road to beat Florida in the Gainesville Swamp 2 weeks ago, and KO'd Mississippi State at home by a score of 28-7 on Saturday.

Meanwhile Texas upended TCU 31-16, Texas Tech manhandled Oklahoma State 41-17, and Old Dominion shocked Virginia Tech by a score of 49-35.

(WEEK FIVE)

Clemson needed a furious rally in the 4th quarter to avoid getting upset by Syracuse for the 2nd consecutive season.

Unranked Virginia Tech "upset" previously undefeated #22 Duke, but the Hokies were only 6-point underdogs in that game prior to the opening kickoff.

#8 Penn State lost at home to Michigan State

#9 Texas -- held off Baylor on the last play of the game

#10 UCF -- trailed much of the game by more than one score, came back to win 31-30 over Memphis
