Eh, whatever.  I don't get the love with Iglesias.  People bring him up all the time around here like he's a stud of somesorts.  I guess if you are dying to have a slick fielding shortstop for a 55 win team for a few million...fine.

I dunno about thaaaat. He gets brought bc he's one of the only guys available that matches "veteran defensive shortstop".

I don't know that the tweet limits the shortstop to Iglesias.   Some would say that Hechvarria is a smooth SS.

I hope its Jose though.

After watching one of the worst Oriole defenses in...ever last year. A good fielding shortstop that doesn't block anyone doesn't sound too awful bad.

Reports are that he's improved in that department in recent years. So said Roch recently anyway.

Welp if we do sign Iglesias then that means we have to DFA someone. Valaika, Wilkerson, is a relief pitcher would seem logical. 

Iglesias isn’t my favorite, but it would give us a better defense. OD would likely be Ruiz, Iglesias, Wilkerson, Mancini across the IF. With Smith, Hays, and Santander in the OF.
