The Orioles' 2nd Baseman made a questionable move on the final force-out right there.

He started running off of the field on a very close play long before the umpire gave the out signal. The runner over-slid the bag ........ if he had just stayed out there a second or 2 longer and looked at what was happening, he could have tagged the runner out, just to make sure.

But now that I think about it, if the umpire had ruled him safe and then he tagged the runner out, the run would have counted because it would no longer have been a force-out.

Interesting, but I still think that he needed to stay out there until he saw the umpire's thumb go upward.
